Pastor Rick and Peggy

Pastor Rick Casebier was born in Olympia and raised in the Seattle area. His family moved to Olympia when he was a teenager. In the midst of a family crisis at the age of 14, his relationship with God was changed after reading "Steps to Christ". He has lived with the assurance of salvation since that time. The summer after his conversion, he worked as a student literature evangelist, a ministry he continued in Alaska during his college years. Rick and Peggy began their team ministry in Oregon. They then spent five rewarding years on the Big Island of Hawaii and 10 enriching years in Turlock, California. Most recently they served in a growing church in Longview, Washington. Rick loves the ocean, enjoys return trips to Hawaii and is happy to be living again in the Pacific Northwest.

Peggy grew up on the East side of Portland in a Christian home and felt called to serve the Lord as a child. She attended Portland Adventist Academy and Walla Walla College, where she met Rick. For many years she has worked part time as an operating room nurse in order to serve more in pastoral ministry. She has a degree in Pastoral Ministry from Andrews University and loves creative public speaking and ministering to women. She enjoys hospitality and music and plays the flute and piano. One of her greatest passions for the Adventist Church is that we become people of prayer.
